Retreat Details

 

When: Friday, October 4, 2019 (Registration begins at 4:00 p.m.) - Sunday, October 6, 2018 (Closing session concludes at 11:30 a.m.)

Where: Rock Springs Ranch is located SW of Junction City, Kansas. If traveling on I-70, proceed to the US77 exit, which is 2 miles west of Junction City. Turn south on US 77 and go 8 miles to K157; then west 4 miles to Rock Springs.

If approaching RSR from the south, continue north on US77 from Herington; 16 miles. At the K157 junction, turn west and proceed 4 miles to the Center.
          
Dress: Comfortable shoes and casual dress is suggested. Many choose to walk between Heritage Hall and their sleeping accommodations. 


What to Bring: Bible, pen/pencil, toiletries, comfortable/casual clothes, a jacket, snacks to share, coffee mug, flashlight, hair dryer, bedding and towels (depending on housing arrangements).

Costs of Optional Activities:  Horseback Riding $10 (Closed toed shoes required), Trap Shooting $5, Painting Party $15.  Pay when attending activity.

Accommodations

Retreat Accommodations  *Indicates handicap accessibility.

Leadership Lodge*

 

                                                               This building accommodates a maximum capacity of 82 people. There are 14 bi-level suites.

                                                               Twelve of the suites are situated with one double bed, a set of bunk beds and two single beds

                                                               in the loft. Two of the suites are handicap accessible, with single beds replacing the bunk set in

                                                               each of these rooms. Private shower and restroom facilities are in each suite. The large,

                                                               centrally located Great Room contains comfortable furnishings and a fireplace. In addition, a

                                                               snack area is available and contains vending machines and complimentary coffee, tea and

                                                               hot chocolate.

 

Bankers Cottage* 

 

Bankers holds a maximum capacity of 24 people. The lodge was renovated in 2006 and contains

four sleeping rooms. Two of the rooms have four sets of bunk beds and the other two rooms each

contain one set of bunks and two twin beds. Each room has a "jack and jill style" bathroom, and

one bedroom/bath combination is handicap accessible. The cottage has a central lobby,

comfortably furnished with fireplace, kitchenette and screened-in porch. Towels and linens

are provided.

 

Conference Accommodations


Hanson and Finnup Cottages* 

 

                                                                       Each of these cottages accommodates a maximum capacity of 80 people. Both contain

                                                                       sixteen air-conditioned sleeping rooms each with two bunk sets and one trundle. Each

                                                                       room has a private bathroom. Campers must bring bedding (twin sized) or sleeping bag,

                                                                       pillow and towels.
